Originating from north-eastern Italy, Verduzzo is prized for its textural style, bringing gentle grip, bright acidity and layered flavour therefore often being labelled as the white wine for red wine drinkers. It often shows notes of citrus, stone fruit, florals and a hint of honeyed savouriness.
The 2024 Sam Miranda Verduzzo release is fresh and expressive, with lime zest, blossom and soft stone fruit on the nose, followed by a crisp, textured palate and a lightly savoury finish. A distinctive, food-friendly white with real personality.
