Crafted in Rutherglen, the 2022 Durif release from Scion delivers a bold yet beautifully balanced expression of the region. Expect deep aromas of blackberry, plum and baking spice, leading into a palate packed with dark berry concentration, subtle earthiness and firm, well-shaped tannins. It’s a full-bodied red, although less bold than some of the other Durif wines, that shows both power and polish, made with Scion’s signature modern, thoughtful touch.
